Property Custom Fields

Custom Fields is an Enterprise-only feature. Please reach out to your account manager or help@pivott.io for more information.

What are custom fields?

Sometimes you may want to track unique or customized information for your communities. To help, we've created custom fields for properties.

This feature lets you create as many fields as you like and surface them both in your properties list and your property profiles.

Quick facts

Currently we support two types of custom fields:

  1. Text Fields (support anything such as text, numbers, email addresses, etc.)
  2. User Fields (add or more users to track roles, contacts, etc.)

Fields can be named however you wish and also be marked as required if you need.

Users with Editor & Admin roles can edit custom fields.

There is no limit to the number of custom fields.

How to enable custom fields

If you'd like to enable custom fields for your instance, please reach out to your account manager or help@pivott.io.

They can help you name your fields, set them to be optional or required, and assist with importing data if needed.

To view a custom field, use your properties list view:

To edit custom fields on a property, click the ✏️ and scroll down to the Custom Fields section:

Troubleshooting

I can't see my custom fields in one of my reports

Your reports may need to be updated if your custom fields were a new addition. Please Contact Support in the app or through help@pivott.io to get your reports updated.

Can I create new custom fields myself?

We are working on giving you control over managing your custom fields in your Organization Settings page. In the meantime, please Contact Support in the app or through help@pivott.io to request additional fields.
