Actioning Contracts with Missing Details


What is the "Missing Details" status?

Sometimes Pivott AI ✨ or our professional services team cannot finish processing a contract because key information is missing. When this happens, the contract is flagged with a Missing Details status so you can step in and fill in the gaps.

You are the expert for your contracts — we'll reach out when we need your help to complete the details.

When will I be notified?

Pivott will send you an email in two situations:

  • A single contract has been marked as requiring your attention
  • A weekly digest email listing all contracts that currently have missing details (sent only if there are any)


Finding contracts with missing details

You can view all contracts that need your attention at any time by filtering for Missing Details status. This filter is available on the following pages:

  • All Contracts page
  • VendorContracts tab
  • PropertyContracts tab


Actioning changes

  1. Find a contract with the Missing Details status and click to open it.
  2. At the top of the contract, you'll see a note explaining what information is missing or what action is required.

  1. You or a team member can edit the contract details to resolve the issue. Fill in any missing fields as needed.
  2. Once you're done, click Confirm & Continue to mark the contract as complete.

The Confirm & Continue button will only appear once you have addressed the flagged issue. If you don't see it, check that all required fields have been filled in.

And you're all done! ✅


Further support

  • If you've resolved a contract's missing details but need to make further changes, you can edit the contract details yourself at any time, depending on your user permissions.
