Auto-filling Property Data in Signatures+ Templates

ℹ️ What is auto-fill?

When sending a document via a Signatures+ template, Pivott can automatically pre-populate form fields in your template with property data already stored in your account — things like property name, address, phone number, and custom fields.

This means less manual entry before you send, and fewer chances for typos or inconsistencies across your documents.

Auto-fill is available on Signatures+ templates only. It does not apply to the Upload Document flow.

🎛️ Getting set up

Setting up auto-fill requires a one-time configuration on your templates. Your Pivott account manager will handle this setup for you.

To get started, reach out to your account manager and let them know which templates you'd like to enable auto-fill on.

The easiest way is to use the Request Template button:

They'll configure your template as needed and enable the feature for your account.

📝 How to use auto-fill

Once auto-fill is enabled on a template:

1. Navigate to Signatures+ in the main menu
2. Select a template
3. Pivott will ask whether you'd like to auto-fill property data into the template
   • If you have access to one property, Pivott will pre-select it and ask you to confirm
   • If you have access to multiple properties, you'll be prompted to choose which property to use
4. Click Apply to pre-fill the template fields, or skip this step to proceed with a blank template as usual
5. Complete and send the document as normal

Any pre-filled values can still be edited before you send the document. Auto-fill is a convenient default, not a locked value.
