What Lease Auditor Does
Lease Auditor checks each lease document for a property against two sources:
- Rent roll: your property management system's record of what each unit is charged.
- Control lease: a file with the expected value for each field.
It reads the values in each lease and compares them to the rent roll, unit by unit, and to the control lease. Anywhere a lease doesn't match either source gets flagged.
What Lease Auditor Does Not Do
Lease Auditor doesn't decide which source is correct. A flag only means two sources disagree, so someone needs to review each one and confirm the right value.
Note: A flag doesn't always mean the lease is wrong. The wrong value could be in the lease, the rent roll, or the control lease.
Who Can Use Lease Auditor
Roles at a glance:
- Admin and Editor: Upload a rent roll and lease documents, run audits, view results, and export them to Excel.
- View + Add: View audit results and export them to Excel.
