Controlling Signature Documents Already Sent
What can I do after a document has been sent for signature?
Find the Document that you want to Edit:
If you have received an email to a Signatures+ document, click Review Document.
More Actions
| Download Document | This will download a PDF, including all fields filled by other parties. |
| Reassign |
This lets you send the entire document so that they can sign it instead of you. Warning: Anything that you filled will be overwritten by them. |
| Decline | Terminates the entire document, even if someone else already signed it. |
| Save | Do this for work-in-progress or if you need the Pivott Support Team to get involved. |
Limitations
- You cannot edit the layout or form fields after a document has been sent. If you need help cloning a document, contact Pivott Support.
- If another party has already signed something, then the train has left the station. Your only options are to Decline the document or keep going, but you can't edit the layout.
Super-User Help
There are a few things that Pivott Support Team can do for you behind the scenes, but it requires contacting us.
- We can clone documents to make faster duplicates.
- We can edit templates to reduce repetitive work or tackle frustrations.
- We can download (Excel/CSV) all the "filled" values as long as one party has either Signed or Saved the document.
- We can bulk-send documents if you need to send the exact same thing to many people.
- Sometimes, we can even edit a document that has been partially completed, but only under some circumstances.
